April News Update

With more than two months to go, over two-thirds of the places at @media 2005 have already been snapped up. The level of enthusiasm has come as a complete surprise to the organisers, who now expect the event to sell out.

The European Web Conference

It has become clear that the biggest web design conference outside of the USA is much more than just a British affair, with over 20% of those registered so far coming from outside the UK, representing fourteen countries, including The Netherlands, Germany, France, Sweden and the USA.

Molly Joins The Party

Author of over 30 books and long-time web standards advocate, Molly E. Holzschlag has been added to the list of those speaking at @media 2005.

"I'm very excited, to say the least" said the renowned speaker, who will be joining the likes of Jeffrey Zeldman, Joe Clark and Douglas Bowman.

Networking, The Old-Fashioned Way

Plans for evening events are underway with the @media Party taking place on the first night and the after-show wind-down on Friday night. So not only will delegates learn about the latest developments in web development, there will be merriment aplenty and an opportunity to mix with like-minded individuals over a drink or three.
